LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Every day hundreds of abortions are performed in the United States. Even after Planned Parenthood was graphically exposed for their horrific and immoral practices in the Center for Medical Progress' hidden-camera videos, abortions continue.
Since the Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade in 1973, over 58 MILLION abortions have been performed -and that's just in the U.S. Over ONE BILLION abortions have been performed worldwide since 1980, according to Guttmatcher Institute.
Many people all over the world express their deepest concerns over the issue. Many people stand up for the unborn children whose lives are taken away. One special 12-year-old girl stood up in front of her class of intimidating seventh graders and gave a startling and powerful speech on the issues of abortion. Her speech has reached over two million views on YouTube.
Although this video is from 2009, her points will always be crucial and significant for as long as abortions continue.
