LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The man accused of being a Mossad agent was first forced to dig his own grave, then kneel and was shot in the back of the head by a masked ISIS militant, according to a video released by the Egyptian cell.

The video, which was widely shared online by supporters of the Islamic State, is nothing new, and, in fact, shares similar elements to other videos released by the terrorist group, including the orange jumpsuit worn by the prisoner and the masked Islamic State killer.

The video was highly edited, jumping back and forth between the moment the Egyptian man was captured, talking frantically on a phone sitting next to a masked fighter, and digging his own grave. The end of the video shows the execution and the man being dumped into the grave and covered with dirt.

The Islamic State is no longer limited to Iraq and Syria. Groups pledging allegiance to the new Caliphate have spread up in Libya and Egypt; it has a global reach, attempting to recruit new members from other Middle Eastern countries and nations in Europe and North America.

The group also has aims in Israel, operating a small cell inside the Gaza Strip, and may be branching out into Tunisia, Algeria and potentially Saudi Arabia.

The 2,000 strong member Egyptian cell, operating in the Sinai Peninsula, fired rockets towards an airport that houses multinational peacekeepers though there were no casualties.

As the group's victories mount in Iraq and Syria, how bold will these fighters grow in these small areas? It is possible that many other Middle Eastern and North African nations will be thrown into chaos by the group.
